We are currently seeking an experienced Service Desk Administrator who is ready to join a fast-moving team within the Fox Information Technology Department. The ideal candidate must be a problem solver with the ability to demonstrate a history of on-time delivery, excellent communication, and a positive, get-it-done attitude.

The Service Desk Administrator, provides software, hardware, and network problem resolution, installation, and configuration to all system users by performing problem diagnosis and guiding end-users through step-by-step solutions; clearly communicates technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner; provides one-on-one end-user training as needed; troubleshoot network printer problems; escalate more complex problems to appropriate team members, and perform related IT work as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, diagnose and resolve issues as reported to the Service Desk either through the Service Desk Portal, via phone, or by email.
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance and provide one-on-one problem resolution in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and demonstrate an understanding of customer and business needs within the Fox infrastructure.
  • Ensure an understanding of the Service Desk Portal and resolve tickets as assigned while ensuring proactive communications with all employees/internal customers.
  • Deliver, tag, set up, and assist in the configuration of end-user hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Administer Google Workspace.
  • Diagnose and resolve network or local printer problems, mobile devices, scanners, Chrome devices, computer hardware, e-mail, Internet, wireless, and LAN access problems.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience installing and supporting the listed technologies.
  • 12 months of applicable experience with the above duties (including internships & military experience)
  • Or 6 months of experience with applicable certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, Security+, etc.) or higher education degrees (CS, MIS, IT, Cyber Security, etc.)
  • Company-paid travel may be required depending on project load and resources
  • Must be willing to work any day of the year as needed including weekends (excluding company holidays).
  • Applicable technology-related certifications are a plus
  • Travel may be required depending on project load and resources
  • Install local area network cabling systems and equipment as necessary including network interface cards, wireless APs, and switches.
  • Develop and enhance interdepartmental relationships and communications by being proactive in communicating with all customers and setting appropriate expectations as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction at the highest levels.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry technologies and continually strive to improve knowledge of internal operations.
  • Manage, update, add & remove users and devices from Active Directory.
  • Assist team members as necessary to ensure all tickets are responded to within set Service Level Agreements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 12 months minimum experience installing and supporting the above technologies.
  • Or 6 months' experience with applicable certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, Security+)
  • Travel may be required depending on the project load and resources.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with IT ticketing systems
  • Remote desktop support
  • Onboarding/offboarding procedures
