Service Advisor responsibilities
- Greeting customers promptly with detailed description of customers concerns
- Obtaining customer and vehicle information
- Must have strong sales skills while advising customers of needed service work
- Being aware of your ELR & HPRO
- Clearly reporting all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer in detail
- Determining and recommending needed maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
- Prepare a complete and accurate written estimate of cost for labor and parts while documenting on the RO
- Establish follow up time & have an open line of communication with the customer
- Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and updating customers frequently
- Verifying that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
- Establishes customer's method of payment
- Explaining all completed work and charges to customers
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a service advisory role
- Reynolds & Reynolds experience is preferred but not required.
- General Motors experience is a PLUS!
- Positive attitude & having a strong work-ethic.
- Positive attitude
- High volume mentality
- CSI focused
- Required experience:
- Service Advisor, Dealership, Automotive Knowledge: 1 year
