Assists the Food and Beverage Manager in assuring all Dining Room services and banquet events are carried out in a timely, efficient, courteous and professional manner and that all customers are treated in a consistently friendly demeanor and given the proper service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Always observe personal hygiene requirements and maintain a high standard of appearance.

2. Reports to work in full uniform ready to work and on time daily.

3. Reviews and is familiar with all room set ups, tables settings, menu items, napkin folds and service standards.

4. Responsible for cleanliness of the room and station at all times. Busses dishes and other equipment out of the room.

5. Places all banquet equipment, materials, props, condiments, supplies, etc. back into their proper storage locations. Reports any damaged or missing items in a timely fashion.

6. Assists with all room set ups, tear downs, setting of buffet presentations which would consist of stacking chairs, folding tables and storing of other miscellaneous equipment.

7. Places all soiled linens into dirty laundry bags being careful to ensure they are shaken out.

8. Must have full menu knowledge with the ability to upsell.

9. Accurate POS computer input of orders and delivery of food and beverages.

10. Itemizes, totals and presents check for payment to correct customers with appropriate Member number and information.

11. Perform opening and closing side work.

12. Treats all guests in a consistently friendly and professional manner. Anticipate guests needs and exceeds customer service expectations.

13. Must maintain composure in a fast-paced environment, having patience and a customer-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

Must be able to understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Demonstrates skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests.

Previous Club experience is preferred but not required. Must understand basic conversational English. Must have a valid Food Handlers Card and have completed BAC Training.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy equipment and trays, carry items long distances, bend at the waist, push heavy equipment and do strenuous work in a consistent manner. Must be able to work late, Holidays and weekends. Must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
