Job description
- Provide excellent service to residents, staff, and families.
- Taking orders, making and serving beverages
- Delivering food to the resident, staff, or family member/s
- Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
- Examine plates to assure quality and accuracy of order
- Wash, cut, package, label, and put away produce
- Serve with a pleasant disposition and manors
- Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary dietary department.
- Following daily and weekly cleaning lists provided by the Dietary Director
- Sweeping and mopping as necessary
- Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining room.
- Clearing, washing, and sanitizing tables
- Doing dishes after each meal service
- Sweeping and mopping after each meal service
- Washing any dishes after prepping food items and beverages
- May support kitchen staff with duties such as prepping food.
- Cutting and/or serving desserts
- Complete additional tasks as needed.
- Delivering meals to resident apartments, or to staff offices
