General Summary Description:
Duties /Responsibilities:
- Set up server station(s) and prepare the restaurant prior to service and throughout the entire shift.
- Enter all food and beverage orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure consistent, accurate, and high-quality food presentation prior to service.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
- Maintain high customer service for guests.
- Maintain current and accurate knowledge of menu items.
- Checks identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
- Follow all mandated regulations involving alcohol sales and consumption.
- Communicate in a clear, professional, and friendly manner with customers, staff, and managers.
- Communicate with guests effectively, provide food and drinks efficiently, and anticipate guest's needs.
- Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.
- Maintain cleanliness standards at tables and all workstations.
- Ensure each guest has a proper menu and accompaniments.
- Promote teamwork, assist coworkers as situations arise while meeting the needs of guests.
- Ensure all revenue and cash handled is maintained and controlled throughout the day-to-day operations including during system outages.
- Polish, maintain, and assist in rolling of silverware.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Prior serving experience is preferred.
Additional Requirements
Licenses/Certification:
- Food Handlers Certification required.
Special Requirements/ Skills:
- Ability to work well with others and take direction from General Manager, and Owners.
- Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Excellent customer service skills Ability to work well under times of intense pressure.
- Exemplary teamwork, communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong supervisory skills.
- Excellent Human Relations skills.
Work Environment:
- Restaurant environment.
- Exposure to loud noises and the general public.
- Long periods of standing and/or walking up to 12 hours per day.
