Job description
We are a brand new pub located on the square in Clarkesville, looking for an enthusiastic server to provide an excellent guest experience. Servers should be able to provide excellent service while exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips.
Responsibilities

- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
- Prepare non-alcoholic beverages for restaurant patrons
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Maintain a clean server area at the beginning and end of each shift
Skills
- Proven work experience as a server/bartender
- Computer literacy- we use Clover POS
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to stay off your cell phone during a shift
- Ability to help keep the restaurant organized, stocked and clean
- Must be eligible to get a city alcohol serving permit to serve alcohol on the square, $50 from Clarkesville City Hall
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $2.14 per hour
