Job description

Opportunity to become a member of the Edaptive Computing Inc. team. The Senior Verification Engineer will provide technical leadership to a team of verification engineers at ECI. The individual have experience in simulation, emulation and verification of complex IC designs in Verilog and VHDL. Experience in formal methods applied to RTL designs is preferred. Familiarity with the problem space in the Trust & Assurance in Microelectronics in the pre-fabrication design phase is required. The candidate will be able to present and justify work to Senior Leadership within Edaptive and to external customers.

Qualitative Requirements

Experience in VHDL and/or Verilog designs
Use of modeling and simulation tools, such as ModelSim or ActiveHDL
Must be able to define own tasking as well as oversee technical tasking of other team members

Desired Qualifications

Masters degree or higher
Experience with formal methods
Experience with SystemVerilog or PSL
Experience with TCL
Experience with object-oriented languages
Experience in development of DoD systems
Active U.S. Security Clearance

Educational and Experience Requirements

The candidate will have experience as a technical team lead in hardware design/verification. Experience in Cadence, Synopsis, or Mentor Graphics Tools is required. The candidate will be able to discuss and justify verification methodologies and application to customers’ needs. An awareness of the Trust & Assurance in Microelectronics area is required. Knowledge of the use and application of formal methods in hardware verification is required.
