Essential Functions:
We are looking for an exceptional in-house senior technical recruiter who will work closely with our Talent Acquisition Manager, SVP of People & Culture, and our engineering hiring managers to develop strategies to find the very best technical/engineering candidates. We are passionate about delivering a top-notch candidate experience that lends genuine insight into our culture and what it’s really like to work at Wiser. We’re looking for a talent acquisition specialist that is comfortable delivering top talent through full life cycle recruiting (sourcing to closing) for our engineering team, specifically. You should be inspired to create practical and creative ways to surface leading talent, and be driven to invest time activating passive candidates through a highly engaged approach. As a member of our People & Culture team, you'll also have the opportunity to help shape our culture, organizational design, and retention strategy for our entire company.
Responsibilities:

  • Engage in full lifecycle recruiting - sourcing to scheduling (with the help of our coordinator) to closing, start the new hire on-boarding process with our People & Culture team
  • Work with the Recruiting Manager, SVP of People & Culture, and the engineering hiring managers to learn about, prioritize and execute on critical hiring needs across the US and Canada (and possibly assist with Mexico engineering openings)
  • Assist with the development and implementation of recruiting, on-boarding and retention strategies/processes. Input is always welcome (and encouraged)
  • Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines, manage referral generation from our US and Canada engineering teams, and sourcing campaigns
  • Regularly track pipeline, priorities, and performance data to share with TA Manager and Engineering internal stakeholders
  • Sound candidate engagement approach with ability to activate passive candidates
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine fit
  • Facilitate interviews and hiring decision-making process with technical interviewers and hiring managers
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience for every prospective hire
  • Deliver the hires that Wiser Solutions needs to scale and accomplish its mission
  • Provide training to current employees on recruiting process and interview skills, as needed
  • Communicate visa status to People & Culture team before presenting offers and introduce new hires to HR team for any questions related to visas
  • Work with Talent Acquisition Manager with any additional projects, as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of experience as a full lifecycle recruiter focused on technical and engineering roles
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
  • Good eye for talent with ability to quickly screen resumes to identify fit
  • Solid interview skills with ability to screen for both technical and cultural qualities
  • Adaptable and innovative with proactive problem solving skills
  • Motivated and able to deliver consistent results with drive, passion, hard work, and a sense of humor
  • Familiarity with international work visas
  • Personable with excellent technical communication skills
  • Strong consultative qualities and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate across all levels of the organization, as well as externally
  • Maintain regular and reliable work attendance
