Ledger Investing is a Y Combinator backed insure-tech startup that is transforming the way insurance risks are financed. Today, Ledger is an online marketplace connecting insurance risk to capital, focusing on securitization. Insurance risk originators are able to source capital more efficiently vs. the traditional value-chain. Capital providers gain access to an asset class that is highly diversified vs. most asset classes. Insurance securitization has quickly grown to be a $100 billion market but is limited in scope due to opacity and complexity. Ledger is expanding this market to $1 trillion by building a seamless data pipeline from the policyholder to the capital markets, enabling transparency, and bringing best-in-class analytics and real-time insights to the table. You will work on:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting process - Source, attract, and hire top technical talent in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Leverage various creative and effective sourcing strategies and techniques to find and attract passive top-tier candidates
- Partner with hiring managers and executives to understand their teams and needs to provide qualified, prepared, and passionate candidates to meet those needs.
- Prioritize building a diverse team at every step of the recruiting process ensuring our top-of-funnel efforts and interviews provide candidates of all backgrounds with equal, unbiased consideration and opportunity.
- Champion an exceptional candidate experience to ensure all candidates feel inspired and informed.
- Ensure that Operational Excellence is at the forefront of your process.
- Employ market intelligence and funnel metrics to inform your search strategy and build a trusting and credible relationship with your leaders, your team, and the company as a whole.
About you:
Successful candidates will have the following attributes:
- 5+ years full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
- Ability to partner with Hiring Managers and continually build credibility, trust and confidence.
- Proven experience sourcing passive technical candidates in various remote locations.
- Experience managing an applicant tracking system (We use greenhouse)
- A bias towards action.
- A strategic approach to the work. Drive results. Don't just check boxes.
- A growth mindset.
- A solid understanding of legal, compliance and related HR regulations pertaining to recruiting.
- Experience working in a fast paced and high growth environment.
- Fintech or Insuretech start-up experience and/or knowledge is a bonus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
