InterFuze is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join a team in Vicksburg, MS or Jackson, MS in support of Information Technology Laboratory on the Engineering Research and Development Center.

• 
  Maintain operations for an enterprise VMware vSphere environment including systems, storage, and network management.
• Maintain comprehensive virtual ecosystems for specialized projects including high availability, data and systems protection, template creation and management, storage management, end user access, versioning, and all other aspects of virtualization utilized to fulfill the project mission.
• Maintain hardware infrastructure supporting the Virtualization ecosystem including SAN, NAS, network switches, and processing platforms.
• Implement and manage VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software and implementing operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the applications and systems.
• Provide Systems Administration for Server systems supporting Web, Database, and various GOTS and COTS applications.
• Coordinate hardware and software upgrades and installations with network and security teams.
• Ensure compliance with established ERDC cybersecurity compliance standards for Windows and VM corporate computing systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues affecting the infrastructure and apply field proven methodologies to determine root cause and return services to expected levels
• Implement and ensure operations for DOD security controls such as Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) and Host Based Security Systems (HBSS).

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• 5 Years professional systems administration experience.
• Proficiency with VMWare’s vSphere operating systems installation, maintenance, and support.
• Proficiency with Windows Server operating systems installation, maintenance, and support.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems relating to VMware enterprise virtualization configuration and operations.
• Working knowledge of Linux Server operating system and proficiency with one or more shell environments
• Proficiency with the managing the following network technologies: DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
• Proficiency with installing and maintaining operations for SAN and NAS hardware.
• Proficiency supporting web application technologies such as IIS and Apache.
• Proficiency supporting and securing database systems such as MS SQL and Postgres in an enterprise environment
• Experience with systems backup and recovery methodologies
• Strong Knowledge of PowerShell
• In-depth technical knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory principles and security best practices
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
