React/Node JS DeveloperARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a React/Node JS Developer. This is starting out as a contract position running through June 2023 with strong potential to extend longer or potentially convert to FTE. It is 100% remote. PROJECT SCOPE: This React Developer will create architect, design and develop front end screens for a new Provider Contract Management System using Java micro services
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
8+ years of IT development/programming/coding professional work experience
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or relevant work experience
Relevant Development certifications
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Proficiency in JavaScript tools such as Express, React, and Node.
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, local storage
Experience with modern web/UI development tools and techniques: Node, Webpack, GIT, Axios
Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as VSCode and MS Suite
Proficiency using debugging tools such as Chrome/VSCode Debugger
Solid knowledge of DOM manipulation and client-side validation
Solid knowledge with ES6 Higher Order Functions and other JavaScript libraries
Solid knowledge of React and Redux principals and build out
Experience working with microservices
Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
Flexible team player
Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle
Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio
High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
