What You’ll Do
Specific duties may include, but not limited to:
- Lead and/or conduct audits, assessments, surveillances, and observations
- Review procedures and documentation for Quality Assurance
- Develop and present findings and areas of improvement
- Provide weekly reports
- Promote National Nuclear Security Administration's Safe Conduct Research Principle (SCOR) and LANL safety policies
- Customer service
- Development and evaluation of processes, procedures, and applications
- Mentor junior engineers
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Industrial Systems
- Minimum 12 years’ experience and a background of Construction and Quality
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office, CMMS, and EDRMS
- Knowledge and experience with quality documents
- Knowledge of intent, purpose, and design of quality and performance assurance systems
- Experience in leadership/mentorship/negotiation
- Experience reviewing technical documents, schematics, drawings for waste shipping containers
- Presentation skills
- Ability to develop and implement quality assurance and control programs
- Technical knowledge of manufacturing and/or fabrication trades
- Lead collaboration
- NQA-1 Leader Auditor certification preferred
- Experience handling and controlling classified materials and systems preferred
- Advance degree preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain A-Level Access
- Q Clearance Preferred
