About the role:
The WATCHMAN Marketing Team is responsible for delivering marketing strategies, campaigns and increasing the adoption of WATCHMAN and Left Atrial Appendage Closure therapy. This marketing team includes a dynamic group of critical thinkers focused on WATCHMAN referrer audience market development within Boston Scientific.


We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who will develop, plan and execute marketing strategies to raise WATCHMAN awareness and acceptance with referring healthcare professionals. The role will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team (integrated marketing communications, analysts, digital marketing, Medical Education, Medical Affairs and more), translate insights into action, and identify solutions to complex problems. This person is an experienced marketer with consumer or health care professional-facing therapy development experience for brands or technologies.


We are open to considering candidates at both the Product Manager II and Senior Product Manager levels for this role.



Your responsibilities will include:
  • Identify opportunities for market development and execute tactics, leveraging cross-functional teams to achieve team goals
  • Implement multi-component Direct-to-Referrer strategies in partnership with external agencies, WATCHMAN and cross functional team members
  • Develop and foster key opinion leader (KOL) marketing pull-through opportunities specific to the healthcare professional referrer audience
  • Partner with digital/media team ensuring strategy alignment and identifying proper referrer audience segmentation
  • Collaborate and align with marketing and cross-functional team members to align on marketing strategy, goals and objectives to deliver overall revenue and profit objectives
  • Establish strong relationships with other functions impacting franchise marketing activities (Clinical, medical education, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, finance, operations, etc.)
  • Continuously measure the impact of marketing and field initiatives, generating early learnings, and driving continuous real time improvement across all initiatives

Required qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required
  • 3+ years of successful related business experience. (pharmaceutical, medical device, advertising agency experience is preferred)

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's or advanced level degree preferred
  • 2+ years Brand Marketing/Product Management experience preferred, including direct-to-healthcare professional or direct-to-consumer
  • Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on data-driven decision making
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that can operate independently with minimal direction
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and partner with internal/external stakeholders
