Senior Network Architect Long Term Day 1 onsite San Jose CA Required Skills: · 7+ years’ experience working with network, server and telecom technologies with a primary focus in network Engineering or administration on an Enterprise Class Network. · 7+ years’ experience in maintaining Datacenter networks, network security, internet connectivity/infrastructure design, load-balancing technologies, and publicly available services. · 7+ years’ experience with and a high degree of competency with Networking Protocols/Services like BGP, OSPF, IPsec, GRE, TCP/IP, HSRP/VRRP, NAT/PAT, SNMP, MPLS, VPLS, QoS, STP, RSTP, 802.1Q , Port-Channel, SPAN, VLAN, VTP, 10GigE, GigE, GTM, LTM, DNS, software defined networking, local and distributed Load Balancing, content distribution, and application firewalls. · Hands-on experience as a network administrator with the following equipment/technologies: · Cisco Sourcefire firewalls, WAN technologies: Dark fiber, Point to Point leased lines, IEPL (private Lines) Cisco routers and switches Palo Alto Networks Firewalls · Cisco ASA, AnyConnect and ISE · Cisco UCS Blade, Nexus. · NetApp · Barracuda Load Balancer · WAN/LAN Protocols and connections · Hybrid Cloud Integration Connectivity · Session Border Controllers · VMWare ESX/ESXi · systems security, patching and vulnerability remediation · Cisco DNAC ISE, and Meraki · Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Computer networking: 4 years (Preferred)
• Network architecture: 10 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
