The Senior Logistics Analyst will provide technical support and interface with the ASR contractor team supporting NAVAIR PMA-261, H-53 Heavy Lift Helicopters Program Office team at Patuxent River Md. Areas of support include providing project support services for the H-53 procurement and sustainment projects execution. The CH-53K is a production aircraft, and the H-53 In-Service aircraft consist of CH-53E/K platforms. Provide logistics project support services for the program office, to including continued refinement, collection and coordination of data, analysis of technical requirements, and preparation of documentation to be used in support of H-53 production and in-service fleet aircraft.
Job Description:
♦ The incumbent shall provide engineering, technical, and logistics support for PMA-261, H-53 Heavy Lift Helicopters Program Office. Provide support for various platforms which include all the CH-53K production aircraft, and the CH-53E/K In-Service aircraft platforms.
♦ Provide guidance and supervision for logistics analysts supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs.
♦ Conducts logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses and provides recommendations for tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics element requirements in support of aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs.
♦ Provide recommendations for changes to site support including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, support equipment, training and training devices, technical data, Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation, and facilities.
♦ Provides recommendations for the continuation of LCC and TOC Management Plans.
♦ Provides recommendations for the review and refinement of maintenance plans/ Logistics Support Analysis (/LSA) records, maintenance tasks and LORA recommendations.
♦ The incumbent shall provide support to NAVAIR PMA-261, the Program Office, and the Program Field Offices. Support encompasses Continental United States (CONUS) and Out of Continental United States (OCONUS) locations.
♦ Provide logistics and technical support with multifaceted ASR contractor team supporting both onsite USN government and at contractor site locations.
♦ Coordinates with ASR lead, provider, customer, and user and continuous interfaces with the NAVAIR technical community (ISEA/Engineers/OEMs/vendors).

♦ Represents NAVAIR PMA-261 at various internal and external meetings in a professional manner.
Requirements:
♦ Master’s level degree in Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management from an accredited college or university.
o Or Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years additional work experience may be substituted for a Master’s degree
♦ Ten (10) years’ FTE experience in acquisition related to in-service support of DOD weapons systems performing any of the following: LORA, maintenance planning, Logistics Support/Supportability Analysis, Operational Availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis. LCC experience desired.
♦ Four (4) years’ experience supervising and directing in the performance of comprehensive analyses across the spectrum of IS elements, during a job assignment in an Acquisition command or supporting an acquisition command.
♦ Ability to communicate effectively with USN customer and contractor personnel at all levels.
♦ High comfort level working with and around all military/organizational levels, clients, suppliers, and visitors.
♦ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
♦ Occasional travel required.
♦ Strong verbal and written communications skills.
♦ Must be a US Citizen.
Security Clearance Requirements: Candidate will require an Active DOD SECRET Clearance.
Physical Demands: Requires walking, sitting, and standing periods of time. Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment.
