BASIC PURPOSE:
The Information Technology Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst position is part of the Bank’s IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance department. This role is responsible for supporting the Bank’s assurance efforts in the IT GRC program. Duties involve assisting the implementation and administration of key program initiatives, performing risk and control assessments, as well as gathering evidence to determine adherence to regulatory, contractual, and corporate policies and standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist with the creation and operation of program processes, procedures, and workflows

Perform continuous program analysis and develop process improvements, where necessary

Assist with the enforcement of department policy guidelines
-
Assist the evaluation of inherent and residual risk utilizing established integrated risk frameworks

Assist the evaluation of IT control design and operational efficacy
-
Partner with IT control owners in the interpretation, monitoring, and reporting of general IT controls
-
Gather testing evidence for internal and external audits (Internal, SOX, Regulatory)

Gather data points for key performance indicator reporting

Maintain workflows and artifacts in a GRC platform solution
-
Conduct industry research on emerging trends in risk and controls
-
Schedule, prepare, and conduct regular training sessions with key stakeholders
-
Prepare reports for governance oversight committees
-
Participate in IT incident response retrospectives
-
Liaison with other departments to champion governance, risk, and compliance principles and best practice

Familiarity with enterprise-level information security controls and solutions

Experience writing technical reports

Experience with presenting complex topics to cross-functional teams and executive audiences

Experience working with industry frameworks and standards, such as NIST CSF, COBIT5/2019, SOX, COSO, ITIL, FFIEC, FAIR, SSAE18

Experience working with enterprise GRC solutions

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CISA, CIPT or equivalent preferred
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience of at least four years (total) supporting control solutions within an enterprise IT environment, performing risk or control assessments/audits, or performing architecture reviews
