Job Description:
Job Summary
The Senior Inflight Strategy Business Consultant is responsible for supporting Inflight Leadership in developing and maintaining their department business plans, supporting initiatives and understanding how the plans integrate with the overall Operational Strategic Plan. Additionally, the Senior Business Consultant is responsible for supporting Directors on Executive needs within the organization. This includes ensuring alignment across the organization and cross functionally by identifying risks, opportunities, dependencies, and assessments of the department strategy, plan and critical initiatives.
Responsibilities
Partners with Department Leadership and other departments to lead various activities required in the ongoing development of the Department Strategic plan, associated portfolios, Technology roadmap/support and implementation of initiatives against the plan. Personally considered a business alignment specialist responsible for driving analysis, recommendations and delivery

Work activities include:
Business Plan development, maintenance and program management when necessary
Understand implications of department Strategic Plan and anticipate key opportunities, risks and dependencies
Liaison with Technology and tracks the Technology Portfolio Lead Cross-Functional initiatives through sound processes and influence
Significant collaboration with Leaders throughout the Inflight organization
Supports the measurement of multiple strategic and cross functional opportunities and programs
Drives the research, analysis and development support for new business opportunities when necessary
Partner with Inflight Leaders, Corporate Planning, FP&A and Technology departments to ensure alignment throughout the mid-term and annual planning process
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong knowledge of business plan development, maintenance and opportunity assessment
Proven analytical and quantitative skills; experience with spreadsheets or other quantitative modeling
Assume a high level of responsibility and to provide direction in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment
Ability to properly manage highly sensitive and confidential information
Ability to contend with a range and complexity of large business problems. develop plans, and drive initiatives to completion
Ability to understand corporate financial analysis and financial statements
Ability to partner and work effectively with all levels of management to develop and implement Company plans
Must be an expert in developing and delivering presentations to large audiences including Senior Leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate complex issues in a structured and concise manner
Proven ability in identifying and resolving issues
Proven ability in designing and conducting analysis, as well as synthesizing recommendations
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Required: Bachelors degree
Experience

Expert level experience, highest level of knowledge in:
Developing and executing business plans
Working directly with Department Leaders (VP, Directors) on compex business issues
Developing and presenting recommendations to Senior Executives on self-created issues/opportunities
Managing all phases of large-scale programs, with special emphasis on coplex business change
Licensing/Certification
Non-DOT position
Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
