Senior HR Business Partner/Compliance Manager
We are looking for an experienced, compliance-minded, HR Business Partner to join our team!
This role will support corporate functions as a business partner and have oversight for compliance programs for the organization.
Professionalism, high ethical standards and a bias for action are expected for this position.
This role will report to the Head of Human Resources.
HRBP Responsibilities

  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with the corporate functions.
  • Work closely with management and team members in the corporate functions to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Advise and support managers on strategic issues, and help design and implement high-performing, integrated human resources practices.
  • Deploy/Mange Talent Management processes for the corporate functions.
  • Assist managers with recruitment efforts and advise on proper team member onboarding

Compliance Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to all the legal standards as well as internal policies and procedures. Monitor compliance with established policies and procedures. Create, manage and monitor control systems for preventing violations of legal rules and internal policies guidelines.
  • Design, improve and implement compliant, productive and efficient company policies.
  • First point of contact for the field HR team for policy interpretation.
  • Conduct internal audits and evaluate the efficiency of controls. Identify risks or non-conformity issues and create plans for remediation.
  • Investigate allegations of wrongdoing and terminations within area of responsibility.
  • Identify training needs relative to compliance; deliver training.
  • Manage relationship with outside counsel.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years direct working experience with the specific experiences necessary for the role.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the regulations and best practices in employment compliance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to quickly build strong relationships.
  • Ability to explain complex laws and regulations in simple terms.
  • Critical-thinker and problem-solver.
  • BA in law, HR, business administration or similar related field required.
  • JD preferred
