NOVA Engineering and Environmental, is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Technician/ICC Inspector in our Pensacola office. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Primary duties performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (soils, masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, post-tensioning, fireproofing, etc.). Some travel may be required. The position will be predominately field located.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements
• Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
• Activities will include performing field testing and inspections
• Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly
• Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others
• Input results and observations into daily reports

Requirements:

• 3- 5+ years construction materials testing and inspection experience required
• ACI Certification required
• ICC Certifications preferred:
• Reinforced Concrete
• Pre-Stressed Concrete
• Structural Masonry
• Post Tensioned Concrete
• Proof of Clean Driving Record
