As the Senior Director, Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for a number of different functions within Revenue Operations & Enablement. This includes leading the following teams: Process & Infrastructure, Strategy & Planning, Analytics & Reporting, Deal Desk & Order Management, Revenue Compensation, and Revenue Program Management.
Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the VP of Global Revenue Operations & Enablement on the execution of the Revenue organizations go to market initiatives and strategy
- Lead six key Center of Excellence teams; Process & Infrastructure, Strategy & Planning, Analytics & Reporting, Deal Desk & Order Management, Revenue Compensation and Program Management
- Drive best practice alignment and collaboration with key revenue leaders and core operations teams (e.g. Marketing, Sales & Customer Success)
- Define, measure, and forecast key Revenue metrics, providing visibility on the health of the Revenue organization's initiatives as well as its customer base
- Manage, optimize, and maintain processes for accurately measuring the impact of each COE team to revenue growth
- Optimize team structures to drive productivity
- Develop objectives and defined results for each team aligned to the overall Revenue Operations and Enablement strategies
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in leading Revenue Operations or Center of Excellence within a Revenue Operations function
- Strong knowledge in Marketing, Sales and Customer Success technology
- Proven ability to lead a global Revenue planning process, plus understanding of global finance organizations
- Understanding of contract management, order processing and quote-to-cash processes
- Strong data operations and analysis background
- Demonstrated experience in developing marketing, sales and customer success incentive compensation plans
- Experience leading a project management team with global coverage
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively
- Strong planning, organization, prioritization and time management skills
- Strong people leader with demonstrated ability to influence and create followership
- High level knowledge of core technologies within a Revenue tech stack (e.g. MAP, CRM and CS platforms)
- Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired in Colorado.

Location: In this role, you can work remotely from anywhere in the United States or onsite in one of GitHub’s U.S. offices (San Francisco, Bellevue, Raleigh)
