The Senior Business Insights Analyst will advance Vita Coco's analytics capabilities. The Senior Business Insights Analyst role directly supports business users to help develop and rollout analytics to support company-wide decision making.

This role is hybrid with 1-2x days in office a week based out of our NYC HQ reporting directly to the Data Engineering & Analytics Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

• Able to effectively extract analytics requirements from business users
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications
• Work with external support and development team members to create reports, dashboards etc iterating on data requirements, data translation and transformation requirements
• Partner with key business stakeholders and recommend analytics to streamline analytics and automate manual report creation and analysis
• Support issue resolution/analytics helpdesk tickets working collaboratively with data team and users to resolve
• Help grow the business user community's ability to leverage analytics and increase business self-sufficiency with tools and data analysis

Qualifications:

• High level of proficiency with Microsoft PowerBI/Tableau with a proven track record of impactful dashboard development
• 3-5 years' experience as a Data/BI Analyst
• Minimum 2 years operating on the PowerBI Platform
• 2 years working with SQL and working with large datasets
• Solid foundation with SQL – ability to query large datasets and glean insights from the data
• Highly adept at dashboard creation and distribution
• Ability to communicate with both non data-oriented folks and highly technical people
• Ability to manage outside developers and relay the business users' requirements into technical terms
• Ability to communicate complex analysis in simple business terms
• Able to understand what the business users need vs what they ask for & deliver them what they need
• Data Governance experience and/or experience working with and procuring master data

At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $85,000-$95,000. This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
