TITLE: Senior Business Analyst
DUTIES:
Analyze user behavior data analysis to identify and resolve operational challenges. Identify the
appropriate methods for data analysis to unearth trends and shifts in user behaviors. Internally
disseminate new trends and findings. Determine appropriate methods for data analysis to extract the
most relevant data for analysis. Develop critical business metrics and rich data visualizations. Perform
data mining in a business environment with large-scale, complex data sets. Convert unstructured data
into scalable, relational data to identify key operational issues. Write complete, optimized queries across
large volumes of data to frame complex analytical problems and develop interactive dashboards and
reports using relation databases utilizing Tableau and Excel. Analyze trends or relationships among
variables, and evaluate overall data quality and information. Identify system performance indicators and
actions needed to improve or correct system performance. Identify and solve issues and uncover new
revenue opportunities that drive the product roadmap forward. Review and analyze complex business
problems, pull data, and extract insights that lead to tangible results, including revenue, seller launches,
and new product features. Engage in strategic and tactical planning discussions, and collaborate with
business customers in gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions. This role can
be performed from anywhere in the U.S.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Statistics,
Computer Science, Data Science, or related field. Two (2) years of work experience in data science,
business analytics, business intelligence or related field. Experience must include working with: Database
User Interface & Design; Data Mining structured and unstructured data, including RDS & Visualization;
ETL Query Software; SQL Databases and Database Querying Languages; Cloud data warehousing and
platforms, including Redshift and Oracle; Dashboard development using Tableau; Data Exploration and
Manipulation; Machine Learning; Data Analytics, including Market Research Analytics and Customer
Analytics; Business Intelligence utilizing Looker and internal data insight tools, including Universe
Estimators; Data science utilizing R; Scripting and automation utilizing Python; Experimentation and
testing in a business environment with large-scale, complex data sets; Big Data utilizing Hadoop and
Hive; Automation using Visual Basic; SAS Programming; Analyzing data, metrics, and market trends
utilizing measurement, statistics and program evaluation. M-F, 40 hrs/wk.
