If you answered yes to each of these questions, you may be an ideal candidate for the Senior Analyst, Strategic Projects and PMO position. The role requires someone who can partner with various stakeholders to effectively manage intake of projects, document business pain-points, redesign business processes and guide the team in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs). This role will begin with focus business process documentation, management of project documentation, and assisting with facilitation of various milestones within project lifecycle for the Strategic Project and PMO Office.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience with:
- Managing and tracking projects
- Leading business process (re)design activities within a company
- Analyzing data to discover process inefficiencies and insights
- Partnering with business stakeholders and technology partners to understand business requirements and translate them into process workflows
- Generating buy-in and participation among stakeholders and leading change
- Operating in a fast-paced, and often ambiguous, results-oriented atmosphere
- Creating and maintain business process flows and problem statements
- Developing to-be business processes and participating in sessions with stakeholders on brainstorming, review, and validation sessions
- Developing metrics for measuring the success of process improvement projects, and delivering those results to leadership
- Creating high level business case with stakeholders to determine return on investment
- Assisting Project Manager throughout entire project to maintain timelines and deliverables
- BS/BA, preferably in a Business, Engineering, or Technology discipline
- 1-3 years’ work experience in a mid/large company or as a management consultant to such companies
- Exceptional ability to compile, analyze and present data, findings and progress in a concise manner
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of products; advanced command of MS Excel and data modeling/macros a plus
- Effective communication (i.e., written, verbal and presentation) and project management skills
- Collaborative, team player with positive attitude and creative problem-solving mindset
- Ability to create relationships across departmental groups
- Experience and skill-sets in process redesign practices and tools, including: Process Mapping, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma, RACI diagramming, SIPOC diagramming is highly preferred
