Job Summary:

Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented candidate who will perform and coordinate various accounting and finance duties within our organization to fit into our dynamic team. The Senior Accountant will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Panelmatic offers a challenging, rewarding, and fun work experience. Job Duties:

  • Support monthly and yearly financials including creation of journal entries
  • Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
  • Coordinate accounting functions and programs including AP/AR process
  • Prepare analytics relating to jobs and financials
  • Help create and monitor budgets
  • Assist external auditors with their engagements including financial, 401k, and ESOP
  • Provide support and advice to management including efficiency and spending opportunities
  • Performing other duties and supporting staff as required or assigned

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience in accounting required
  • Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and GAAP required
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational, management, self-drive, self-motivated, high integrity, and business ethics required
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills required
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required
  • Growth mindset with the ability to accept challenges required
  • US work authorization without sponsorship required
  • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
  • Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • CPA, CMA, or another accreditation preferred
  • Three or more years of experience managing the work and training others preferred
  • Three or more years of experience in QB preferred
  • Three or more years of experience with POC accounting preferred
  • Three or more years of experience in project cost accounting preferred
  • Experience in ERP integration preferred
