Accountant
Airco Service is currently looking for a dedicated, qualified individual to join our accounting department.
Job Duties:

• Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
• Complies and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy.
• Prepares periodic financial statements, account reconciliations, and other accounting schedules and reports.
• Record journal entries and transactions in accounting/operating systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions.
• Provides data and/pr assists in establishing major accounting objectives and policies. Ensures adherence to and communication of accounting policies.
• Assist in preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Uses actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources of control funds and provide proper financial administration.
• Prepares financial plans, monitors implementation of financial policies, prepares reports, maintains historical records, analyzes trends, prepares account reconciliations, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budget.
• Prepares financial analysis of operations of guidance of management.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance, plus a minimum of 5 years of direct experience required
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, advanced formulas) required
• Strong analytical skills required
• Sage Intacct (or comparable accounting systems)
• Service Titan software experience a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively, pay attention to details, prioritize tasks, and work under time constraints.
• Drug-free and able to pass a background check
