Open Systems Technologies Corporation is looking for a Security Systems Technician to join our team. Responsibilities include designing, planning, and evaluating physical security systems in accordance with Department of State policies and procedures. Provides innovative methods and technical solutions using the engineering design process, including documentation.Responsibilities
- Experience with Lenel, S2, Amag, Ccure software house (one of these)
- Prior govt installation exp., alarms, intrusion detection, cameras, and IP cameras
- installation/troubleshooting/maintenance, key watcher type system, wire pulling copper and fiber minimum
- Ability to travel OCONUS, 2 to 3 trips for site surveys, beta testing, little network exp for IP addresses.
- Support the design, development, and evaluation of security technologies.
- Support the development and review of system documentation to include technical requirements, evaluation reports, test plans, deployment instructions, and technical bulletins.
- Perform annual system document reviews.
- Provide Tier 2 operational incident and problem resolution support.
- Supports installation of technical security equipment in laboratory and operational environments.
- Reads and interprets circuit diagrams and low-voltage electrical schematics.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Participates in testing and special projects as required.

- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to read, edit, and interpret circuit diagrams and low-voltage electrical schematics.
- Familiar with the use and operation of a digital voltage meter for point-to-point system testing.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and support systems throughout the system lifecycle.
- Clearance: Secret
- Bachelors degree and 5 + years of related technical security experience or the equivalent combination of education/training and/or experience/military.
- International travel and work experience is preferred.
- User level proficiency of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD/Visio) preferred.
