The Peninsula Chicago is seeking an Officer to join our Security team and be an integral part of the hotel's safety and guest-focused service.

Key accountabilities

• Serve as security ambassadors focusing on the safety and security of all guest, patrons and associates as well as hotel assets.
• Officers will enforce all security procedures and hotel policies in an aggressive yet hospitable manner.
• Ensure proper operation of all responsibilities of Security operations
• Maintain a high level of visibility and professionalism while on duty
• Respond accordingly to all fire alarms, bomb threats elevator entrapments
• Patrolling all areas of the hotel noting unusual circumstances or safety violations
• Maintain consistency in performance in accordance with both Peninsula and Forbes standards
• Communicate with all departments to create a guest centric experience

General requirements

• 2 years of Officer experience in the hospitality industry
• Ability to handle fast-paced, high energy, stressful environment; ability to be flexible with work schedule including some late-nights and weekends.
• An excellent knowledge of the current computer applications being used.
• Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills.
• Strong command of written and spoken English both written and spoken
