Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York — plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care, and two urgent care offices. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates, including the Thompson House for rehabilitation and skilled nursing services, and the Home Care organizations.

Work Schedule: We currently have PT/ FT opportunities with Overnight shifts. 10:00PM- 6:00AM.

Security Guard Job Summary:

The Security Guard at Nuvance Health is responsible for the day to day activities of ensuring a safe and secure campus. The Security Officer will maintain a safe environment through patrol of the hospital, grounds and outlying buildings. This position will respond to all calls both emergency and non-emergency as they occur or in order of importance. The Security Guard’s purpose is to promote a safe environment for patients, visitors and hospital employees.

Security Guard requirements are:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

· Experience and CPR/AED certification preferred but will train and certify if needed.

· Effective customer relations, communication and interpersonal skills required.

· Ability to understand and adhere to Company policies in all areas is required.
