Job description
We are looking for an experienced Security Guard to provide protection for our property and assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the premises and reporting all suspicious activities to the security office. This position involves a great deal of public contact and the ability to both remain calm in emergencies as well as make quick and sound decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Guard entrances and exits of a building.
- Watch for intruders or unusual activity.
- Be courteous to customers.
- Be alert at all times to prevent accidents or security breaches.
- Patrol building exterior to prevent entry by unauthorized persons.
- Patrol building interior to prevent unauthorized entry and to ensure orderly movement of persons inside building.
- Have knowledge of fire prevention procedures, first aid, and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Knowledge of fire prevention techniques, first aid, and emergency evacuation techniques.
- Knowledge of general crime prevention techniques and procedures.
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30 pm- 11:00 pm
Job Type: Part-time
