Private family based in Bethesda, with two other properties (Eastern Shore & The Bay) is in search of a flexible, experienced Housekeeper/Family Assistant to work in their home Monday through Friday with some hours varying.
This position is meant for someone who is ok with variety as each day may bring different tasks. General housekeeping, home organization, keeping inventory of household items, driving kids as needed, laundry, and assisting with meal prep are some of the duties that would be required. Special projects may also arise and the individual should be flexible and up for the challenge.
Ideally someone experienced, who has worked in a busy home before and can truly step in and take initiative without overstepping boundaries.
Housekeeper should be ok going to all 3 properties as needed.

Position Responsibilities

• Housekeeping:Full housekeeping, but likely keeping another housekeeper 2 days/week to assist
• Cooking: Help Start/Prep for Dinner
• Laundry: Family Laundry
• Errands: Dry Cleaners; Post Office,Etc.
• Driving: Required
• Travel: No Travel Required

Position Requirements

• Work Hours: M-Fri, 9:00 AM – 6:00PM; with flexibility
• Languages:
• Experience: Minimum 5 years
• References: Minimum of 2 References
• Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire

Position Compensation

• Salary: DOE; $30-$35/hour, but would do more for the right person depending on experience
• Living Accommodations: Live Out
• Vacation: Yes
