DISTRIBUTION CENTER: RECEIVING ASSOCIATE 2nd Shift - SEASONAL

School Health Corporation is the leading provider of medical supplies to schools, universities, and sports teams nationwide. Our family-owned business has a need to bring on seasonal employees during the summer months for warehouse workers, in our new facility.

We are hiring Seasonal Receiving Associates. This position is responsible for all inbound shipments including processing, putting away product and replenishing primary pick locations. We anticipate this position will last through mid-September, with permanent hire opportunity. Current shift hours are 9am - 5pm and overtime including Saturdays may be required. Hours will change to summer hours of 1:30pm - 9:30pm for June through September. Beginning in June, 2nd shift workers will earn a $1/hr. shift differential.

Responsibilities include:

• Offload UPS and FedEx packages
• Receive and sign for shipments - inspect cartons for damage, verify quantities
• Process purchase orders - verify product information and quantity; use hand-held RF scanner to receive into warehouse management system
• Put away product to overstock and primary pick locations using hand-held RF scanner
• Process returned products
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and use pallet jack
• Must be willing to help in other departments/functions as needed

Basic Requirements:

• Ability to work Monday-Friday (or Saturday) some weekends will be required based on business needs; flexible schedules are available
• Prior experience operating warehouse equipment

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and use a manual or electric pallet jack
• Ability to stay on feet for long periods of time

Work Environment

• Work in a warehouse environment throughout seasonal temperature variations
• Use of proper safety procedures to ensure workplace safety
