The Carryout Associate is responsible for providing customer carry-out assistance. This position also assists with keeping the retail area in neat, clean condition at all times and for stocking bags, boxes, shelves, and other items as necessary.

Position Duties

• Assist customers by carrying their purchases.
• Maintain grounds of the retail center and nursery including sweeping and removing trash.
• Perform sweeping, cleaning and emptying garbages to ensure that the store remains in neat and clean condition at all times.
• Communicate with co-workers and management in a clear and timely manner.
• Replenish and restock bags, boxes, shelves, and other products as necessary.
• Properly maintain all equipment and immediately refer any problems to management.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

• Prior retail or volunteer experience preferred.
• Must be 15 years of age or older.

Skills Required

• Must display good communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Must be friendly and possess a team mentality.
• Must have the ability to perform physical labor, accept and adapt to change, be able to work in a fast-paced environment independently.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to utilize required safety equipment when needed.
