Position Summary: Seeking an experienced and talented Scrum Master to lead a highly skilled development team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven servant leader that will be empowered with the ability to establish goals and create plans to help drive their team towards maximizing their potential.

This position will work closely with Product Management, Software Engineering, and QA to guide Scrum activities including story refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, software releases, and retrospectives. You also will strive to keep the team focused and help to reduce obstacles that impede team progress. Our ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, be process-driven, inquisitive, and be able to pick up new knowledge and skills independently.
Responsibilities

  • Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices and values to deliver excellent products to customers.
  • Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies.
  • Guiding the team on how to get the most out of self-organization.
  • Helping the team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
  • Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
  • Taking responsibility of projects through their entire lifecycle including management of project personnel.
  • Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, goals and deliverables that support business goals.
  • Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments.
  • Ensuring that all relevant processes are followed on projects.
  • Following continual improvement processes and increasing transparency.
  • Facilitating getting the work done without coercion or dictating the work.
  • Facilitating discussion, decision making, empowerment, and conflict resolution.
  • Supporting the Product Owner, especially on refining and maintaining the product backlog.

Qualifications

Desired Competencies:

  • Ability to collaborate with and lead a Scrum Team.
  • Experience with implementing successful Agile techniques across web and mobile products using Kanban.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills.
  • Experience with enterprise-grade work management systems such as Targetprocess.
  • Knowledge and awareness of Project Management principles, documents and plans.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict.
  • Ability to deliver results on time, within budget, and to the very highest standards.
  • Project reporting and stakeholder management.

Desired Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and at least 2-4 years' experience in this field is a must
