Responsibilities: *

• Serves as the Scrum Master for our product development squad

• Owns all Agile ceremonies
• Performs daily backlog grooming
• Prepares the set of work items for each sprint planning

• Maintains organization, structure, and efficiency in how the Development team executes

• Engage in deep business conversations with business stakeholders to ensure all business functionality required for our product is accurately and comprehensively translated from business functional requirements to technical specifications using Azure DevOps work items (epics, features, PBIs)
• Consults with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to identify business priorities and build consensus and alignment around them.
• Own the process of translating business priorities and user needs into technical requirements that will drive the development of solutions.
• Serves as an adviser to executive leaders, leveraging your understanding of the business context.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 2 years as a scrum master at a FinTech company
• Experience working in a cross-functional environment, aligning and managing stakeholders

• Have a basic understanding of the alternative/specialty lending space, or another finance product area
• High Emotional Quotient (EQ) and outstanding interpersonal skills
• Proactive and articulate to identify and resolve issues before they become problems
• Strong track record of project management skills, including both planning and execution of distributed and leveraged teams
• Strong command of DevOps, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power Automate
• Scrum Master certification (i.e. Scrum Alliance, SAFe, etc.)
