SUMMARY OF POSITION*
We are seeking a Scientist I to work with the Bioanalysis team for pharmacokinetic / toxicokinetic assessments and potential support of biomarker discovery and validation employing mass spectrometry based approaches within the context of non-clinical and clinical studies. Fulgent Bioanalytical Laboratory Quality Assurance programs and Standard Operating Procedures.

KEY JOB ELEMENTS*

• Independently develop and validate LC-MSMS method following FDA regulations.
• Apply and execute LC-MS/MS method for the analysis of the study sample and corresponding data.
• Hand-on sample preparation using standard techniques (PPT, LLE, SPE, and so on), following standard operating procedures.
• Troubleshooting LC-MS/MS method for a bioanalytical routine test.
• Write the SOPs and prepare bioanalytical documentation following lab GLP procedures and FDA guidance.
• Regularly maintain LC-MSMS system.
• Training new personnel if needed.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology or other related fields of study.
• 3-5 years of work experience in compound characterization and data analysis using mass spectrometry, LC-MS/MS workflows, especially on Sciex LC-MSMS systems.
• Experience with LC-MS/MS analysis software is a must such as an Analyst and OS.
• Hands-on experience with chromatographic separation, characterization, and quantification of various analyses by LC/MS-MS.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and technical writing skills.
• Proficiency with mass spectrometry software, data analysis software (Analyst, OS, MATLAB, R, JMP, & etc.), Word processing, and graphical computer programs
• Experience working under GLP or CLIA environment can troubleshoot LC-MS/MS assays during the work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
