Comfort Keepers is seeking a dedicated, experienced Internal Care Coordinator (ICC) for our Waterford office. At Comfort Keepers, we provide uplifting in-home care for seniors and older adults who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in their home. As an Internal Care Coordinator (ICC) you will have the opportunity to support our caregivers in delivering one-on-one care that enhances quality of life of our clients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Internal Care Coordinator (ICC) works closely with the office support team and is primarily responsible for the client’s excellent care experience through managing the client schedule, selecting appropriate caregivers based on caregiver skills, client needs, and availability. The ICC will also support in the hiring process for caregivers to achieve adequate staffing levels for current and potential clients. On-call responsibilities will be based on a predetermined schedule. Additional responsibilities will include support with billing, process and filing documents, and other office duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience with experience in scheduling in client care or scheduling preferred.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and outstanding people management skills.
• Must be able to work under time pressures and manage multiple demands simultaneously
• Exceptional customer service skills and written / verbal communication.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.

• Willingness to spend extended periods of time on the phone.
• A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with the ability to pass a background check (including motor vehicle records check).
• Participate in on-call rotation schedule.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 9am-4pm in the Waterford Office

Position Physical Demands:

Walking, sitting, and standing with lifting not expected to exceed 25 pounds in weight. Extended time at a computer work screen and on the telephone. Occasional field work may be required.
