As a key member of Amada's office team, the Scheduler works closely with clients and their families to accurately plan and coordinate their caregiver’s schedule. The Scheduler will optimize productivity while managing schedules and handle calls from caregivers as well.

Applicant should possess the following skills: Ability to multi-task, understand client needs and pair them with caregiver skills, desired work schedule, preferences, and proximity, make connections over the phone to build trust, relationship selling. Think outside the box and shift gears as situations arise, solutions driven.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to clients’ needs
  • Communicate new assignments and/or schedule changes to caregivers and clients (via Ring Central, AxisCare or email. NO PERSONAL CELL usage to communicate)
  • Identify and address scheduling issues for clients & caregivers (i.e. call offs, no shows etc.)
  • Report who is the best candidate for Caregiver of the Month
  • Work under time pressure and manage multiple demands simultaneously
  • Complete 24/7 with clients and caregivers and add 30 day follow up to calendar
  • Provide Customer service /communication to clients & caregivers
  • Client visits may be required to properly assess clients when care plans need to be updated
  • Proper documentation (i.e. Incident report, caregiver and client issues)
  • Communicate to On-Call weekend schedulers update
  • Work alongside other scheduler as a team to fill shifts and fill in for each other when needed
  • Best practice to have shifts fill at least 2 weeks out
  • Available for On-call phone after hours
  • Update KPI tracking weekly
  • Attend Weekly Staff meeting and orientations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
