Position: Sanitation Specialist
Position Purpose: To clean and sanitize all properties in preparation for new tenants and Vacation Rental guests in a way that is welcoming and service-minded.
Responsibilities:
- Clear communication with Property Manager and Short-term Rental Coordinator
- Check scheduling program daily
- Manage work hours efficiently between Vacation Rental and Tenant Turnover cleanings
- Attend scheduled safety meetings
- Customer satisfaction (tracked through good reviews on listing sites and guest interactions)
- Prepares clean environment for future tenants and Vacation Rental guests
Expectations:
- Ability to learn new systems and apply them to each property
- Follow systematic cleaning process
- Work efficiently with others
- Ask questions to help clarify expectations
- Prioritize policies to ensure safety and integrity
- Excellent communication and response times
General Duties
- In depth cleaning for properties with Tenant Turnover
- Keep individual cleaning supplies stocked by notifying Property Manager
- Practice set cleaning standards and following standard operating procedures
- Frequent and thorough cleaning/restocking between short term rental guests
- Reporting damages or maintenance issues to the Property Manager via the proper channels
Qualifications:
- Maintain all lines of communications – email, cell phone, collaborative app, timekeeping app
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Transportation to all meetings and work sites
- Available 4 consecutive hours, 3 days a week between the hours of 11 AM and 3 PM
Supervisor: Property Manager
Position: Part-time, hourly, EOE
Compensation: $15 per hour
Hours: Up to 25 per week
Vacation and benefits: Due to the part time nature of this position, no benefits are offered
90 day introductory period: The first 90 days of employment will be an introductory period where performance will be observed. Upon completion of the introductory period, the employees performance will be reviewed in accordance with the Job Description and written expectations of the employees position. If all areas are satisfactory the employee will continue in their role. If the employee has not met some or all of the expectations found in the Job Description, action may be taken by the supervisor to either extend the introductory period, or terminate employment.
