Dudley DeBosier (DDB) a premier industry leader in personal injury law, is currently seeking a SalesForce Product Owner. The Salesforce Product Owner is the in-house representative of all DDB stakeholders, helping to define, prioritize, and create DDB’s Salesforce Org features. The position incorporates both a tactical and strategic component of product development combined with advocation for the operational and software needs of the end users. The Salesforce Product Owner is responsible for all functions related to the configuration, maintenance, documentation management, and training of DDB’s Salesforce Org. The Salesforce Product Owner must be both a self-starter and a team player with the ability to understand business operations and to communicate effectively with individuals and end user groups. A solid technical background in Salesforce is required. Experience in data analytics and Tableau is preferred. This position is based in Baton Rouge, LA with some travel to office locations in other cities required on occasion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1) System Management and Maintenance for Case Management Software (CMS):
- Responsible for creation of and updates to system configuration and reports.
- Assist with integrations with other systems and responsible for validation testing of all such integrations.
- Assist with system maintenance and partner with vendors as needs arise.
- Responsible for validation and testing after system maintenance, updates, and changes.
- Responsible for importing and updating data related to user/Attorney Teams management.
- Responsible for exporting data for reporting or other needs.
- Partner with firm trainers to ensure system changes, policy changes, and procedural changes are updated and relayed to end user groups appropriately.
- Ability to conduct training sessions for re-training on existing features and introduction of new features.
- Assist with special Salesforce Org-related projects as assigned by the COO.
- Partner with DDB IT Department, DDB Litify Team, Litify, and 3rd Party Salesforce Support vendor/s as required.
- Performs other related duties essential to the work described herein.
2) System Documentation:
- Create and maintain appropriate change, business continuity, and training documentation as pertains to the CMS.
- Maintain up-to-date user accounts.
- Maintain feature request log and properly prioritize it to remain within systems budget.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required or Preferred:
- Associates or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of applicable work experience required.
- Required knowledge of SQL and Salesforce required. Salesforce Certification preferred.
- Preferred knowledge of Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online) and Adobe Acrobat required.
- Preferred knowledge of Slack, Google Drive, Screencastify and Loom
- Possess advance skills at consistently paying close attention to detail and recognizing and planning appropriately for how parts affect the whole.
- Must exercise critical thinking and troubleshooting skills required.
- Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Possess exceptional administrative, documentation, and prioritization skills.
- Work 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Ability to travel occasionally to satellite office locations in other cities as required.
