Job description

This position is key to Carmeuse revenue growth by connecting the organization to the market. The Sales Representative is expected to build key relationships & maintain regular contact with current customers, while also identifying new potential customers within the market. This role will focus on one or more of our core market segments, and strategically drive revenue growth of lime, limestone, and aftermarket services for equipment that utilize our products. Time spent managing accounts versus prospecting should be at the 50% level in both areas to support business objectives. Travel expectations up to 60%.

  • Salary range for this position is $78K-$100K as well as an annual bonus plan

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the implementation of tactical plans to support both the sales and marketing strategy
  • Responsible for the development and continuous maintenance of the sales funnel
  • Drive Growth through a strong emphasis on developing opportunities and adding new business
  • Keep an opportunity pipeline full by ensuring that an active list of potential new prospects is compiled and constantly updated in the CRM
  • Responsible for addressing customer concerns in collaboration with other departments/functional areas
  • Maintain industry association relationships
  • Conduct weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Generate forecasts and annual sales budget
  • Conduct regular Carmeuse site visits to obtain operational feedback and gain a clear understanding of products and operational capabilities
  • Implement strategic plan to build strong customer relationships
  • Continually update customers and awareness of new products and service offerings
  • Conduct activity and performance reporting in CRM

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Business or related field
  • 2+ years of successful B2B sales
  • Business development experience in an industrial manufacturing environment a plus
  • Up to 60% travel
