Job description

The Sales, Marketing Assistant is responsible for project work in support of all Commercial Operation functions.

Major Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Identify and perform routine updates to the BioSpectra website and associated documents.
  • Work with outside vendor, Full Frame Digital to process requests via SMARTSHEET, complete audits, issue FFD Scorecards and reconcile monthly invoices.
  • Creation of Purchase Orders via SAGE
  • Maintenance Document posted on the website through routine maintenance and auditing
  • Create and revise Commercial Division Work Instructions as needed following WRART format (Writing, Review, Approval, Release & Training)
  • Work Dept. Handbook owner to capture all new WI’s and other changes
  • Maintain Promotional Item Inventory
  • Support of Product Project Management
  • Trade Show and Event Preparation, Support and attendance as needed
  • Annual/Semi-annual Customer Care issuance and follow-up as needed
  • Updating marketing materials as needed (Ex. Corporate Overview)
  • Assist Sales Support as needed
  • Assist Commercial Operations Manager as needed
  • Assist VP of Commercial Operations as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Commercial Operations and Vice President of Global Commercial Operations.

Qualifications:

  • BA, BS or Associates degree or equivalent 3rd party education and training.
  • Strong writing skills with thorough knowledge of standard grammar and business communication etiquette.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with commonly English vernacular and grammar and accepted business communication styles and etiquette.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with representatives of online trade journals, online directories, industry trade show representatives, customers, creative designers and employees.
  • Extremely strong attention to details for document review purposes.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with teams and in team settings
  • Ability to get along with others in the work place.
  • High functioning knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, PP, Adobe and other common software platforms in order to perform core responsibilities efficiently.
  • Ability to multitask and reorganize priorities as needed and directed.
  • Ability to manage time properly. Time on task management.
  • Ability to perform all duties at a high degree of proficiency, output and correctness with the need for constant supervision and audit of work.
  • Ability to think through common situations of change or need related to various tasks and job functions (critical thinking).
  • Ability to contribute creative input on various marketing projects.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to see and distinguish color
  • Bend, stoop, and carry
  • Repeating motion that may include wrists, hands, and fingers
  • Air travel of up to 9 hours (Europe)
  • Engage in extended industry events (trade show) for extended period of time (10-12 hours) and 2-3 days.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per hour
