RPA Record Products of America is the industry leader in Vinyl Record Molds and Equipment.

Job Summary: The Sales Engineer serves as the hub of the sales process for RPA’s products and services.

Supervisory Responsibility:

None

Responsibilities/Duties:

Handling general incoming sales calls and e-mail quote requests

Answering customer technical questions

Handling call and email campaigns as part of marketing programs and research plans

New Business development

Key account management

Assisting with Order Processing and other office work pertaining to Sales

Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and systems requirements.

Drafts or assists with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers.

Ensures that customer needs are met, which may include product modifications.

Proposes improved materials or products to customers and explains benefits of changes.

Prepares product orders and schedules deliveries.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.

Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Technical degree in engineering or field related to products and services being sold preferred.

Two to four years of related product or sales experience required.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

Previous experience in the engineering manufacturing industries

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, standing and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at a time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
