Some Key Areas of Responsibilities include:
- Assist sales and marketing team with all aspects of the booking process for groups and events including written communication with clients, site inspections, drafting proposals, contracts, event orders and group resumes using client details.
- Facilitate communication of client/event details between departments throughout the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction and the successful
- Generate weekly departmental reports as needed to keep the team informed with progress reports
- Maintain and update client relationship management systems.
- Grow in the position through continued learning and development of skillsets in related areas of responsibility
- Help build online marketing, brochures, email campaigns, etc. that highlight our services
- Assist with opportunities and plan events for our customer base in the community to improve company reputation and visibility
- Participate in trade shows and organization & execution of sales blitzes
- General office duties including fielding sales inquiry calls, ordering office supplies and assisting other departments as needed
Requirements:
- Strong motivational, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Detail-oriented and works well under pressure.
