Mahina opened its first location on Maui in 2006, we now have 15 locations island wide plus an online store!

We are looking for a part time sales associate for our Whalers Village location. Our perfect candidate is friendly, efficient, reliable and has a heart for service and an eye for fashion.

Please note; this is not a seasonal position and require coverage through December and January. Please don't apply if you are taking vacation during this time period. This location is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Requirements:

• Professional appearance and demeanor

• Strong multi-tasking skills

• Preferred experience

• Available three evenings a week from 3-9.30 pm, with a minimum of one weekend availability

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Greet customers and respond to questions in a hospitable and efficient manner

• Remain knowledgeable about merchandise, sales, promotions and store policy

• Provide styling recommendations based on customer’s stated preferences, needs and desires

• Operate the POS and perform related tasks, including cash handling, credit card processing and opening and closing of the register

• Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing

• Handle refunds, returns and exchanges with a focus on timeliness and customer service

Job type: Part-time

• Hourly rate, plus a monthly monetary bonus when goals are reached
