Position: Full Time - Sales (Minimum 35 Hours Weekly)

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Must complete our Certified Fit Specialist training program and be able to effectively employ our shoe fitting process.

• Demonstrate the ability to use our store’s technology to assess and analyze a Guest’s gait and select the appropriate products to fulfill those needs.

• Demonstrate the knowledge of the breadth of New Balance Product Models and Technology

• Understanding and supporting store and company operations, policies and procedures

• Acting as a world-class customer service model and boosting sales and the experience of the brand, using various sales techniques

• Understands customer expectations and to always reach or exceed their expectations

• Effective store merchandising and implementation of monthly visual point of purchase.

• Helping organize store promotions.

• Active member of the retail store duties - sales, customer service, inventory control, maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

• Proven sales experience from a retail environment

• Desire candidates with knowledge of running, health/wellness, and exercise science.

• Comfortable using technology

• Ability to perform basic PC functions and has point of sale register skills
• Handle cash and credit card transactions without error

• Must demonstrate strong customer service skills, good verbal communication skills and enjoy working with the public.

• Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment.

• Ability to lift 5 to 10 pounds regularly, lift or move 20 - 30 pounds occassionally.

• Flexible scheduling. Contributing 35 - 40 hours weekly including at least one weekend shift and some holidays.
