Summary:
Parabit Systems is seeking to fill our Sales Associate position with an enthusiastic, career minded, individual, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and has responsibility for assisting with the many facets of the Sales and Marketing effort including supporting sales goals, developing and extending various marketing programs, and proposal preparation. In this position you will be responsible for supporting the sales efforts of the Company by sourcing, establishing, and building relationships with corporate executives over the phone, through social media, trade shows, and by e-mail. You will also serve as an information, communication and presentation conduit for the Sales Department. The ideal candidate will make a lasting impression with our target market by skillfully using the latest marketing applications and emerging technologies. Additionally, this position will ensure successful trade show events throughout the country. Analytical thinking is an important asset, as you are often required to prioritize your own work, and develop processes that monitor progress and performance. You will also need to be well organized, exude a positive image that reflects well on the Company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gathers market research data to implement new programs based on market need; includes making calls to customers, gathering secondary research data, and communications with sales associates.
- Establish new accounts by organizing and planning daily work schedule to build on existing or potential sales outlets.
- Creates, maintains and distributes general correspondences and E-Mail blasts.
- Proofreads copies for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes.
- Provide assistance with the production and presentation of Webinars.
- Attend trade shows, arrange and conduct client meetings.
- Develop leads and strong ongoing business relationships; Track Process of Leads for reporting and strategy making.
- Provide excellent communication among the internal team as well as communication with Clients and new Prospects.
- Prepare responses to sales and website inquiries.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets on weekly and YTD Sales Pipeline, Sales Prospect, Competition activity reporting, and Sales Forecasts.
- Ability to provide exceptional follow through and be customer-service driven.
- Investigate problems; prepare reports; develop solutions, and make recommendations to management in order to resolve customer complaints.
- Help develop and implement strategic sales plans.
- Facilitate client requirements meetings – both in person and/or remotely using current online presentation applications.
- Stay current with client needs, competition, and industry trends.
- Deliver sales presentations/proposals to prospective clients with a successful closing rate.
- Develop and manage client relationships.
- Evaluate accounts.
- Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations
- Other duties as assigned/required.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree in Marketing from a Business School; 5 years related experience in Sales and Marketing.
- Language Ability: Work requires an extensive knowledge of business and an excellent command of the English Language. Reading, Writing, Speaking and Translating Spanish is a plus.
- A passion for persuasion, especially around complicated and intellectually challenging issues.
We seek candidates who have a creative and entrepreneurial mindset; are interested in helping to build a business and to be compensated according to performance. Pay range $60k – $80k/year plus commission after quota is met. Expense account when traveling to trade shows. Great medical, dental, vision, life insurance offered.
