Conroy's Flowers has an inside sales/customer service position open for immediate hire at our Newport location. This individual will help customers with their purchases of flowers, process and manage orders, perform customer service, organize the store as necessary, and perform closing operation. Individual must have good communication skills, be comfortable with interacting with customers in person and on the phone, and have good basic computer skills for order entry. Previous retail experience is a plus but not necessary as we do on the job training!

Responsibilities:

• Great and direct customers.
• Learn and stay up to date with store product offering, product pricing, and promotions.
• Help customer with placing orders over the phone and in-store.
• Help customer with purchases and placing orders over the phone as well as in-store.
• Help customers with order status and customer service related concerns.
• Help production staff in prepping as necessary.
• Organize, restock and clean merchandise area as necessary.
• Perform store opening and/or closing procedure.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the store manager.
• Paid training will be provided to help train employees with the above responsibilities.

Skills:

• Comfortable interacting with customers.
• Good communication skills.
• Computer literacy and ability for general use of a computer.

Schedule:

• Availability for Tuesdays and Thursdays (2-7pm), Saturday (9am to 1pm)
