Total Mechanical Systems in Plainville, CT is looking to employ a highly driven, strong, extremely organized full-time Sales Assistant to assist the Sales Manager with the day-to-day tasks of the Sales department. The Sales Assistant's responsibilities include reviewing and assisting with the paperwork of sold jobs, communicating with the customer from the time of sale to time the job is released to production as well as helping to develop strategies to improve sales. This is a fast paced environment where accuracy matters.

Sales Assistant Responsibilities:

• Helping the Sales Manager with all daily tasks.
• Assist in guiding the sales team to achieve sales targets.
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with customers.
• Identifying opportunities and strategies to increase sales.
• Regularly attending sales meetings and training sessions.
• Ensuring that sales consultants have all necessary materials/packets for their sales appointments.

Sales Assistant Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in related field is advantageous.
• Proven experience in sales and customer service.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Salary: $15-$20/hour. BOE.
