The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for managing, servicing, and prospecting Kingston’s accounts in Mexico and Central America. This role will establish and maintain relationships with accounts, create opportunities, negotiate variables, and close sales. The Sales Account Manager will conduct business reviews, make recommendations to management, ensure correct pricing, and perform other related work as required. Salary $56k-90k

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manages relationship with Kingston Mexico and Central America field sales team regarding business and strategies with the goal of maintaining and enhancing customer relationships.
  • Responsible for keeping customers and field sales team informed of any price changes, inventory status, market trend and updates.
  • Uses discretion and proper judgement in negotiating with the customer to close sales orders while ensuring alignment with internal management strategies.
  • Executes the sales order process and approves orders/ RMAs in portal.
  • Maintains and adheres to appropriate sales metrics and business requirements to include daily phone time, accounts development.
  • Utilizes Kingston tools to manage accurate sales to customers, ensuring that customers have a healthy inventory
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, current on market conditions including, but not limited to, customer bases and their availabilities, requirements, pricing, and competitive alternatives
  • Develops and implements strategic sales programs at key accounts
  • Possesses proficient knowledge of Company’s credit requirements
  • Consistently maintains and accurately updates the information database
  • Works jointly with Supervisor, BUs and Sales Account Managers in the field to ensure full customer service and maximize sell-side opportunities
  • Partners with Accounting Specialist team to problem solve, process improvements, and provide key metrics and analysis.

GUIDELINES (ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS):

  • 1-5 years of recent consultative sales experience and closing sales preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish and English
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels in the organization
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills
  • Works well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Outbound telephone sales experience preferred

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Sales and Business Management
