What We're Looking For:

Friendly, Out-Going Attitude

· Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order fulfillment and delivering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen

· Prepare to order sandwiches and salads. Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by customer, and prepare food according to instructions

· Receive calls for delivery or takeout orders

· Cook exact number of items ordered by each customer, working on several different orders simultaneously

· Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items and rotating stock

· Observe and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently

· Portion, arrange, and garnish food, and relay food to servers for delivery to customers

· Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes, using various kitchen utensils and equipment

· Estimate expected food consumption, requisition or purchase supplies, or procure food from storage

· Clean food preparation areas and cooking surfaces

· Complete side work as follows:

o In the morning, help with daily prep work and kitchen station setup checklist

o Wash cups, silverware, utensils, plates, bins, and containers;

o Complete Kitchen closing checklist

o Various cleaning projects, such as: mopping floors, tidying up server station, taking out trach, and cleaning bathrooms

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
